Mr. Karimu Gbene Suglo 

Mr. Karimu Gbene Suglo is a member of the UGSRC Welfare Scheme Board, representing the Director of Finance of the University of Ghana. Mr. Suglo is a Senior Accountant at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana. Mr. Suglo previously headed the Treasury Unit of the Finance Directorate of the University of Ghana from June 2017 to June 2022, and the Accounts Section of the Accra City Campus of the University of Ghana from May 2012 to June 2017. He previously worked at the Accounts Office of Commonwealth Hall, University of Ghana for over ten (10) years before being transferred to the Accra City Campus of the University. Mr. Suglo is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Administration (Accounting option), and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), all from the University of Ghana. Beyond his roles at the University of Ghana, Mr. Suglo is a member of the Board of Community Development Alliance (CDA), a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in the Upper West Region.
