Call for Applications: UGSRC Education Assurance Plan

Have you lost your fee-paying parent or guardian or the sponsor of your education between August 2023 and now? Has the sponsor of your education or your fee-paying parent or guardian become totally and permanently disabled between August 2023 and now? Then, the Education Assurance Plan is here for you! This initiative of the UGSRC Welfare Scheme provides you with comprehensive life insurance benefits that will cater for your outstanding academic and accommodation fees till you complete school, offering you financial security and support in the face of unforeseen circumstances.

Under the Education Assurance Plan of the UGSRC Welfare Scheme, if you lose your parent or guardian or sponsor of your education, or if your parent or guardian or sponsor of your education becomes totally and permanently disabled, you are eligible for:

a. Academic Assurance Benefit: Up to GHS 7,500.00 of your academic fees paid to the University on your behalf.

b. Accommodation Assurance Benefit: GHS 3,500.00 paid to you, whether you are a resident or non-resident, to help you cater for your accommodation expenses.
